Message From the President—Future Growth

As I write this message, we are all preparing for Thanksgiving. When it comes to Manson, what I am most thankful for is the people that make up this great organization. Across the country, on projects large and small, Manson people are working hard to plan and safely dredge, build, and lift. Others are working hard to facilitate those operations by securing work, getting vendors paid, or keeping our equipment running. In the end, what we are all doing is providing for ourselves and our families as we build and maintain this country’s infrastructure. We can all be proud of one another.

As we close in on the end of 2025, Manson has many accomplishments to be proud of. We are on track to have our first year of a sub-one injury rate. We have secured more backlog than ever in our history, and we have executed our work in a planned and professional manner, leading to the positive financial results that ensure our continued success as an organization. I am particularly proud of the response to our Employee and Community Engagement (“ECE”) effort. As you will read about in this issue, Manson teams across the country have gotten together to do good in our communities in a wide variety of creative ways.

In 2026, we will continue to get better as a contractor, employer, and community citizen. Our senior leadership team has developed 2026 goals that will push us along on our journey to become a better builder and dredger, a better place to work, and a better member of our community. I look forward to updating the Manson team in the pages of the Navigator, in our town hall meetings or, even better, in person aboard a vessel, in a yard, or on a site.

Our day-to-day challenges vary, but our guiding principles stay the same. We take care of people, we do the right thing, and we find a better way. These core values anchor us in the legacy of excellence that past leaders of Manson like Peter Haug have built. They also guide us as we navigate the myriad challenges and opportunities that lay before us. Thank you for your continued dedication to excellence. I wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season.
