Manson Northwest Builds Joy Jars for Children with Cancer

Seattle, WA—In March, employees from Manson’s Seattle office teamed up with the Jessie Rees Foundation (“Team NEGU”) to assemble Joy Jars for children facing cancer and other serious illnesses This event was inspired by a similar version conducted with Team NEGU earlier this year by Manson’s Southern California office.

Dozens of Manson participants came together at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, organizing toys, games, and learning activities into clear jars for hospitalized children to enjoy. In just an hour and a half, the team successfully packed 1,000 Joy Jars, which will be delivered to children’s hospitals across the country.

“This is an important event for Manson because we’ve increased our initiatives to support our community and give back as a corporation,” says Senior Vice President-Chief Engineer Jeff Arviso.

Manson Marches to Support Diabetes Care and Research

Seattle, WA—Manson’s Seattle office laced up their running shoes in May to participate in the Beat the Bridge for Breakthrough T1D 5K walk to raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes and fund ongoing research to find a cure. The event was in support of Manson employee Mike Walker’s daughter, Marley, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in late 2024.

Coined “Marley’s Manson Marchers,” the group joined thousands of participants at the University of Washington’s Husky Stadium and made way toward University Bridge to complete the walk. To commemorate the event, Marley created friendship bracelets for each Marcher.

Manson SoCal Supports Boys & Girls Clubs Golf Tournament

Long Beach, CA—Manson’s Long Beach office proudly participated in this year’s “Fore the Kids” Golf Tournament to raise critical funds for at-risk youth in the Southern California community. The event benefited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach, a long-standing organization committed to empowering young people through its mission: “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

Long Beach Office Walks for Equal Access to Critical Care Services

Long Beach, CA­—In May, Manson’s Long Beach office sponsored the Ronald McDonald House Charities Southern California (“RMHCSC”) The Walk for Kids™ event.

RMHCSC’s largest event of the year, the 5K walk brings the community together to support children and families who rely on compassionate care and critical services across Long Beach.

Jacksonville Team Volunteers with Beaches Habitat for Humanity

Jacksonville, FL—In April, employees from Manson’s Jacksonville office volunteered with Beaches Habitat for Humanity to support construction of affordable housing in the Coastal Haven Community, located in the Atlantic Beach area of northern Florida. The initiative will include 44 townhomes across 11 buildings.

They assisted with multiple stages of construction across three townhome sections, including digging foundation framework, framing and installing firewalls, and painting unit exteriors.

Then in June, Manson’s 2026 Dredge Strategy Meeting attendees, including members of Manson’s executive leadership, braved the summer heat with great energy and enthusiasm to continue to build safe and affordable housing for underserved communities.

These volunteer efforts highlighted Manson’s continued commitment to both teamwork and community engagement, reinforcing the value of working together to make a positive impact where we live and work.
