Manson Wins AGC of California Awards

Southern California – Manson’s P-443 Pier 6 Replacement project at Naval Base San Diego (“NBSD”) won two awards at the Associated General Contractors (“AGC”) of California’s 2025 Installation & Awards Gala in San Francisco, CA.

The project took home the gold in the “Heavy Civil: $50-150M” and “Excellence in Partnering” categories—showcasing collaboration, innovation, and contributions to the construction industry.

This Design-Build project involved the construction of a new single-deck general purpose berthing pier to replace the aging marine structure at Pier 6 at NBSD. One of 13 piers at NBSD, the existing structure had been built in 1945 and was nearing the end of its service life. This was the fourth pier replacement project Manson has performed at NBSD since 2001.
