Manson Restores Pensacola Beach and Strengthens Local Community

Manson’s Gulf Renourishment Pensacola Beach project team used the U.S.-built, U.S.-flagged, and U.S.-crewed 15,000-cubic-yard self-propelled trailing suction hopper dredge FREDERICK PAUP to dredge and place more than one million cubic yards of sand along the Gulf shoreline, including areas of Pensacola Beach and Santa Rosa Island in Pensacola, Florida.
Pensacola Beach welcomes more than two million visitors each year, supporting local businesses, sustaining approximately 8,000 jobs, and serving as home to the world-famous Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy flight demonstration team.
Manson’s connection to the community extended beyond the project through its sponsorship of the 2026 Pensacola Beach Air Show, which celebrated the Blue Angels’ 80th anniversary and America’s 250th year of independence. The air show took place July 15–18, 2026, in Pensacola Beach, Florida.
