The purpose of this project was to remove and replace the Large Lock Center Miter Gate at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Seattle, WA. The project included fabrication, testing, and delivery of a new miter gate assembly, which was primarily a welded structure consisting of 2 leafs, measuring approximately 46 feet wide by 60 feet tall, with each leaf weighing approximately 180 tons.
