This heavy lift involved supporting the launch of a 400-passenger catamaran ferry at Vigor Industrial’s shipyard on Harbor Island in Seattle, Washington. Manson’s derrick barge DERRICK 24 lifted the vessel and set it on the water adjacent to the derrick barge. The ferry was inspected for water-tight integrity, then assisted out of the launching cradle by a tugboat.
