• The GLENN EDWARDS, Manson’s largest hopper dredge with a capacity of 13,800 cubic yards, dredged material at a site seven miles off the Atlantic Coast
• Approximately 3,125,000 cubic yards of material was dredged and pumped to shore

PROJECT PURPOSE
Due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, beach nourishment was needed along the New Jersey shoreline to replenish the lost sand. Manson crews restored nearly 4 miles of beach to a width of up to 250 ft. along the New Jersey Seashore.
