- Of the total dredged amount, 324,183 cubic yards was removed by a combination clamshell dredge VASA and cutter suction dredge FRANK BECHTOLT
- Dredge spoils were placed within nearby designated areas
The Jacksonville Port Authority regularly requires berth dredging in order to accommodate deep draft vessels. Using a clamshell dredge, supplemented with a cutter suction dredge as needed, Manson deepened the berths along the St. Johns River over the course of this multi-year contract.
