Project Description:
Manson has completed the first phase of a multi-year new construction and maintenance dredging project involving clamshell and hopper dredging. Due to adverse weather conditions this project can only be performed between May and October for each year. During the 2009 dredging season, Manson removed approximately 950,000 cubic yards of virgin material, large boulders up to 25 feet in diameter, and other obstructions at the Port of Anchorage, Alaska.
