Project Description:
The project involved a two-stage construction sequence at the Clinton Ferry Terminal, which connects Clinton, Wash., to the metropolitan Seattle ferry system. The northern half of the terminal was demolished and replaced with minimal disruption to traffic using the southern berth.

The existing timber trestle was replaced with a new concrete deck consisting of 24-inch diameter steel pipe piles, cast-in-place concrete pile caps and precast, prestressed concrete deck panels. A new steel sheetpile bulkhead was constructed at the inshore side of the new trestle.
